Why Won't My Projector Turn On, Remians In Standby?

When i try to turn on the projector it defaults to standby, not powering up. There is no indication that the lamp is burned out, lamp light not lit.

If the unit is stuck in standby they suggest removing the mains supply and then allow a couple of minutes and then re-insert the power cable. Another reason could be that the unit has the 'trigger' mode enabled which could leave the unit in standby. Refer to the troubleshooting section at the end of the user guide available from this link:
