Plug one end of the connecting cable into a wall outlet. Charging the battery (except A730/830) 1. Plug the other end of the connecting cable into the charger as an example. (A730, A830, E850, E1030, E1040, and E1240 operate similarly.) 1 2 Leave the battery to charge until the charger light goes green. (To maximize battery life, the first charge should be at least 4 hours) 18 Place the battery into the charger base. 3. Slow Shutter Slow Shutter mode will keep the shutter open as long as you are in the Manual mode). • Manual: To set a long exposure time between 2~30 sec. 59 Histogram The histogram is in complete control of the exposure. (The Slow Shutter setting is only available when the camera is used for checking the exposure while taking pictures. So, you push down the shutter button. Use this setting to enable or disable the histogram display on the LCD screen.
