How to disable the power saving settings on a Lexmark Forms Printer 2580?

To disable Lexmark 2580 energy saving mode (for the new printers with no external power switch.)
This will print the menus on the paper in the printer.
To disable Lexmark 2580 energy saving mode (for the new printers with no external power switch.)
This will print the menus on the paper in the printer.
- Open the button panel
- Press Setup to print the main menu
- Press Micro [down arrow] for 'Control Options'
- Press Pitch for more
- Press Setup for 'Off Mode'
- Press LineFeed to choose 'Disabled'
- Press SetTOF to Return to main menu
- Press SetTOF to exit and save setup
The printer ships from the factory with the above setting set to "Two Hours" and should now be set to "Disabled."
