Hitachi 50ex20b Problem

i have a Hitachi 50ex20b that has slight ghost images at the top left corner of the screen, also there are slight green ghost images ? is there anything i can do to correct this problem? , i don't have the remote so all the adjustments i do are at the front panel. Is there any thing i can do inside he set ? any help would be appreciated

Hi there, I have the same exact model tv and the same exact problem. What you have there is a convergence problem. What you have to do is fine the replacement IC's that are attached to the heat sink and replace them along with any resistor that might have gone bad.

I am trying to find the IC's myself for my home TV but i cant seem to find them anywhere. IF you happen to find them please contact me via email at [email protected]. Thanks

I had same prob. I just bought the repair kit from http://www.tvrepairkits.com and tv looks great. took about 2.5 hours, after i found the values for the resistors. (had to buy repair manual online at http://www.e-servicemanuals.com/ for $4.99.
