Vizio Logo Flashes Amber Then Turns White But Will Not Power On

Vizio logo flashes orange and will eventually turn white. When the logo turns white I get a "V" on the screen but then eventually flashes amber again. This is the puzzling part. I have 2 exact 37" vizio smart tvs bought at the same time and they are both doing the exact same thing. If this were a power surge issue would it not cause my blue ray player to go out as well. The satellite receiver and blue ray player were all plugged into the same power strip as the tv and are fine. No notice of electrical power surge issue because if that were the case I would have to reset my clocks. Bizarre is the word - is there a fix or do I trash them?
