Why Did I Lose Picture And Sound On All Cable Channels?

Switched channel and suddenly lost picture and sound.  A "No Signal" messge appeared on lower left-hand corner of screen.  The cable is connected directly to the UHF/VHF input without a cable box, VCR or other device attached.  Checked cable by connecting another TV to it and it worked fine.  Checked via MENU the cable, picture and sound settings and all were correct.

Assuming that you have the correct input selected, it sounds like the receiver has died.  Not what you wanted to hear, but there are only so many things that could fail.  I recommend a diagnostic at a service shop.
