Sharp Al 1551cs Mac Driver

I have an iMac OS Mountain Lion and need the driver for the sharp AL 1551CS. The iMac does not recognize it.

Have you done a google search for it? I checked Sharpusa.com and dont see any mention of a Mac driver. You could run windows under virtualization software then load a windows driver. Not sure how else you could work around this. Sorry.

One thing I want to caution you Mac users about in regards to printer drivers. dont rush out and get the next OS upgrade the day it comes out, unless you want to risk lose printing functionablilty. You should wait a few months till your printer mfg announces the release of compatible drivers.
