Un46fh6030f Automatically Dimming
The TV worked fine for a couple of years and just recently the picture has dimmed and we cannot get it any brighter.

There is only a quick start guide available. It does not mention anything about resetting the defaults. You can try entering the menu and searching through the items to see if there is a reset to factory. Most TVs have this function to eliminate issues. This is a link to the guide.
