Cracked Plasma Tv Screen For Model Number Pn50c490b3d

Is the glass part of the screen one whole part, and if not can the screen be replaced.

Unfortunately this is the panel that's cracked and must replace the entire part. The suggested retail for the panel is just over $750 and there is an additional $350 core charge since it's damaged, plus S/H ($1100 plus for the part alone)

Actually, the cost posted for $750 includes all the electronic parts on the back. That being said, the screen by itself is VERY hard to find. I found one on Ebay new for $200, JUST the glass but it sold.
