Printer Does Not Start

The printer does not start with the main power switch although the green light above the power switch comes on.

Try fully rebooting the printer... turn off the main power switch, unplug the power cord from the wall, wait 10 seconds, plug it back in then flip the main power switch.

If the same thing happens, make sure the wall outlet has the correct voltage, with minimal fluctuation. Otherwise it could be a problem with one of the printer's circuit boards or the firmware. The best bet in that case is to call a Ricoh certified technician for diagnostics/troubleshooting to narrow down the source of the problem.
