Bottom Of Arms Sticking

The bottom of the arms is a shiny bar with the wheels on the end. As the wheels go up down the ramp, the shiny bars go up and down inside the arms. However, my bars go up into the arms, but stick coming down. When the bar unsticks from the inside of the arm, the wheels falls quickly onto the ramp, making a loud clanging noise. Would lubricant or grease work? If yes, how do I correctly apply the grease to the bar and arm

thanks, but where it's sticking is when the silver rod (the wheels are attached to the bottom of it), when the rod goes up into the arm, it doesn't come back out. It stays up there, keeping the wheel off of the track. Then, it eventually falls out, and the wheel slams onto the track

All you need to do is apply lubricant to the ramps. There should be no excess, just a thin layer of silicone lubricant, wiping off any leftover. You can use the leftover lubricant to oil up the rollers to ensure the smooth movement of your elliptical.
