Pro-form 115 Csx Resistance Too High At Level 1

My pro-firm csx upright bike's resistance is very tight or High at the lowest level (Level 1) - Much harder to bike then previous stationary bikes. Is there a way to loosen the resistance?

Perusing the User Manual, I was unable to find anything about adjusting the resistance level. The only thing that I could find was adjusting the seat, exercise intensity, etc.

I'm unsure at this point whether the resistance can be adjusted, so I would recommend contacting ProForm (Icon Fitness) directly for verification/troubleshooting:
