Pfaff 2140 Presser Foot Shaft

Pfaff 2140 the presser foot shaft will not stay in the UP position. I can raise the shaft with knee lift but cannot lock in up position by manually lifting the lever.Was told there is a small wheel that holds presser foot up & I need to find a replacement part.
