Defective Sound Card

purchased 2-9-209 recently started making poping noises when first turned on. after being on for 10 minutes,every thing worked fine. took it to authorised onkyo repair, diagnosis "audio board" needed replacing. cost $520.00, bought new what recorse do i have? help james stevenson
