Tv Won't Turn Back On After A Few Second Power Surge.
TV won't turn back on after a few second power surge. It was plugged into a surge protector along with the DVR. DVR came back on. All other electronics in the house small and large came back on including other TVs. This is the newest TV (about 3 1/2 MOs old). The small red light remained on but the power light on the front is off. Won't turn on with the manual button on the side. Later the red light was gone and it seemed dead. The red light came back but still no signs of life. I tried plugging it into another outlet in the surge protector (which is lit up and working) and still lifeless.

Unplug TV for about 30 minutes from the back socket and the wall oulet simutaneously let sit I thinke their is a safety relay switch that will only reset after the power capacitor has drained after being unplugged from the back of the TV and wall outlet. I've had the same TV surge out 5 times in the last 3 months.
