Resetting Radio

1. Turn on the radio and wait for it to display the "Code" prompt.

2. Press and hold the "Vol -" button on the front panel of the radio until the display shows "Initial."

3. Press the "Vol +" button to confirm the reset.

4. The radio will now restart and display the initial setup screen. Follow the on-screen prompts to set up the radio.

Note: If the radio doesn't display the "Code" prompt when you turn it on, try disconnecting the radio's power and ground wires for a few minutes, then reconnect them and turn on the radio again. This should force the radio to prompt you for the security code.

If none of these steps work, you may need to contact JVC customer support for further assistance with resetting the security code or accessing your radio's firmware.

3. Use the "Up" and "Down" arrow buttons to select the first digit of the new code.
4. Press the "Volume Up" button to move to the next digit.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 to enter the remaining digits of the new code.
6. Once you have entered the new code, press and hold the "Volume Up" button until the "Enter" message appears on the screen.
7. The security code has now been reset to the new code you entered.
