Enable Management Port On Ibm System X3650 7979

hi everybody i would know how enable a management port on IBM System x3650 type 7979.i confirgure a BMC with a good address IP, mask and gateway but when i connect a cable to management port, i not get a reponse. LED of management port are not turn on. i would use ipmitool for collect information of hardware best regard

Systems-management Ethernet connector: Use this connector to connect the server to a network for systems-management information control. This connector is active only if you have installed a Remote Supervisor Adapter II SlimLine, and it is used only by the Remote Supervisor Adapter II SlimLine.
