How Do I Recover Rom On An Aahd3-hb Motherboard (hp Pavilion P7-1126s?
While upgrading the BIOS using HP software my Pavilion p7-1126s stalled. After waiting for 10 minutes I turned the computer off and now it won't even go into BIOS. I noticed on the AAHD3-HB motherboard "ROM-Recovery" and wonder if there is something I can do with jumpers to restore BIOS to default settings?

You'll need a SLI programmer. Blackcat makes a JTAG/SLI programmer that runs $30. You can get the pinout of the Rom Recovery header here: http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Hardware/How-to-use-the-rom-recovery-on-s3230uk/td-p/1563499 Otherwise, your only other option is to buy a new motherboard. Trust me, I'm in the same boat right now with a Pavilion P7-1148p. Deciding what's going to to be the best course of action (you can get a new motherboard for around $55-$120 on NewEgg depending on what features you want).
