Adding More Ram.

I have a Gigabyte GA-946GMX-S2 motherboard and i want to add more RAM. Currently I have 2 GB (2x1GB) and i want to add 4 GB (2x2GB). I heard that this motherboard doesn't support more than 2 GB of RAM. Is that true? Or if i can add 4 GB, do i need to change any BIOS settings?
