Pci Installation Of Controller Card

Open the side panel, typically the left one. 

Lay the PC on it's right side. Remove the 2 or 3 screws on the left panel (top when laying on side).  Rermove the panel.  You'll see the main board.  Locate an empty PCI slot.  Remove the screw holding the door cover in place and remove the cover.  Sometimes the door cover needs to be broken out if it was only stamped.  Insert the new card.  Use the screw from the rear slot panel to secure the card.  Do not over tighten.  Close the lid, reinstall the screws.

Good to go.   Er...or rather you "should" be good to go that is.
