Access Lamp

Is there a way to disable the Access Lamp on the back of the camera that blinks red as it's writing information to the CF card? When I do time lapse photos in a confined space up against glass, I get the red light in the glass reflection. I shoot time lapse photos from hotel room windows as I travel around for my job.
