The slot opening appears as shown after you wish to connect additional SCSI drives. You need to knock it out. 2.6 External SCSI port The barebone system includes a slot on the rear panel for the external SCSI port. External SCSI slot 2.6.1 Removing the slot cover To remove the external SCSI slot cover, insert the end of a flat screw driver into the hole at the center of the slot cover to install the SCSI cable that came with your system package if you have removed the slot cover. 2-16 Chapter 2: Hardware setup
