Samsung Hls5065w - 50' Rear Proj Tv Powers Off

After replacing the bulb twice from samsung dealer and replacing color wheel due to loud grinding noise, the tv is powering off again.  Was told was the power supply but for parts and labor $400.00.  Is it just an issue with this tv or will the power supply do the trick?  Can I purchase the power supply and replace myself?

I have seen less than 5% power supply problems causing shut downs in a Samsung DLP. Nearly 60% is the DMD board, 20% ballast, the rest is the digital or analog board (after the lamp and the color wheel have been eliminated).

I would look at the capacitors on the power supply board for ones that have swollen tops, and if you find any then replace them (see attached photo).
