Windows For Lenovo G500

So I just bought a laptop Lenovo G500 and I'm trying to intall Windows 7 on it, but I'm having a problem everytime. It says that I cannot install Windows on the disk partition and I cannot install the drivers from its CD.

Your laptop shows as coming with Windows 8 x 64 installed.

I have found that to "downgrade to Windows 7, means a complete format of the hard drive.- I am assuming you are using the original hard drive.

Windows 8 will skip into repair/open mode very quickly, so if loading a Windows 7 disc, pressing the F2/f12 button can be hit and miss.

What I have found is that you need to go into advanced options when actually installing Windows 7, and delete the last partition first, then the next (sometimes recovery partition, Then the small set up partition- then click on the new button, and this will create a new partition of the whole hard drive, and installation of Windows 7 , will then begin.

Windows 8 has to be removed , as windows 7 is an earlier version of Windows, and it will not usually be easy to install another earlier Windows on a hard drive,
