Samsung Phone Service Antagonizes Consumer
I have a Samsung SCH-U360 phone and like it very much, but was dismayed to find how complex its menu was and how authoritariian and off-putting were the demands of the live person Samsung connected me with.All I wanted was a bback-up instruction book, but Gerry or Gary or whatever his name was insisted that I once again pryoff the back of the phone, remove the hard-reseated batty and give him addditional information beside the model number.
So offensive and authoritarian and unnecessary was this demand on the part of Samsung, that I wished Gary (Gerry?) a good day and hung up the phone.
PS: His English was so heavily accented that I, a linguist, could not understand him much of the time.
It became interested that Samsung is interested in promoting its authoritarian business, not the good will or needs of the customer.
