Keyboard Conk Out
my laptop keyboard no longer typrs characters of any sort. I type on th ekeys and nothing happens. my laptop is attached to an external monitor with an external mouse and everything else is working properly, except the typing funtion, both on my laptop and the external keyboard I have attached as well.

Hi. If a simple restart will not do, then you will have to:
1. Try System Restore
2. Try System Repair (using a repair/system disc)
3. And lastly if need be, try installing a fresh copy of windows and observe.
