Cd Burner

How do I connect the CD burner on my laptop? It keeps saying that it's not connected, but this machine is supposed to read and write CDs and DVDs.

Basically, your laptop has already a connected DVD/CD burner drive. Based on Toshiba, this laptop model has DVD-SuperMulti drive (R double layer) which can read/write data on CD/DVD media. If it cannot read and write, there might be a problem with the lens of the drive. Unfortunately, there is no other solution for this but to replace the built in DVD ROM drive.
