Toshiba Satellite P205-s7469 Cpu Upgrade?

I wanted to upgrade my machine instead of purchasing a new one. I installed a new SSD, on the ram, it accepted a 4gb and a 2gb stick and shows 6 being used. Now I want to upgrade the CPU but I can't find any info on it. Can you help? Thanks so much!

Probably not, laptop CPU's don't tend to be up-gradable by the consumer. You may be able to upgrade your processor to one of the same series, the one in the P205 is the Core 2 Duo T5300 I think, you might be able to upgrade something like the T5400, however it may not if the motherboard does not support the CPU.

I hope this is helpful to you!

Upgrading the CPU in a laptop is a bad idea. Even if it accepts it, the cooling system is designed for a specific CPU, so upgrading it to a more powerful, and inevitably hotter, CPU will cause overheating.
