Toshiba Satellite L500-00f/ Cpu Upgrade

i have this laptop since 2 years running on a i3-330M cpu.i want to upgrade. is it possible?

95% of the time upgrading a laptops CPU is not possible. Mainly because laptops are built with propertiary hardware. All the pieces are designed to work with each other the way the manufacturer made it. Higher frequency processors can easily over heat in laptops due to the cooling sytem not being designed for high frequencies.

If you do happen to find a processor that would run in your laptops motherboard you would have to purchase aftermarket...aftermarket CPUS are never a good idea. And I believe your laptops CPU is soldered directly to the board.

Long story short.....I reccommend purchasing a new laptop all together. But definately look into selling your used laptop to make up for some of the cash!!
