White Light On Rt Front, No Sound From Fan, Won’t Turn On.

fell onto carpet from 3 feet. How do I check it out

  1. Unplug the computer from the AC adapter.
  2. Remove the battery from the computer.
  3. Press and hold the power button for 20 seconds.
  4. Re-Install the battery.
  5. Re-Connect the AC adapter.
  6. Press the power button to turn the computer back on.

If it hit the floor it is possible something has come adrift. You need to ascertain that it is something simple such as a disconnected cable (hard drive or power) or a physical breakage.

I have a attached a maintenance manual which should enable you to dismantle and check for any breakages.
