No Mouse-pointer After Installing Romanian Language

I am not sure if this is the reason (there also have been a Microsoft update at that time), but after rebooting the laptop (C855D-S5106) several times, no mouse pointer was available. Very unpleasant as Win 8 is new for me and finding the way around the UI was very challanging... Where can I find the driver for the "mouse"?
