Unfortunately, the Frigidaire FPIC3677RF cooktop doesn't have a specified overall weight limit in its documentation. Here's why, and what factors to consider instead:

Why No Overall Limit:

Glass-Ceramic Surface: Induction cooktops have durable glass-ceramic surfaces, but it's difficult to provide a single universal weight limit. Heavier weights can stress the surface differently than multiple smaller weights.

Distribution: The distribution of weight matters more than the absolute total weight. A single heavy pot in the center is less risky than several heavy pots on the edges.

Manufacturer Focus: Manufacturers generally focus on ensuring the cooktop can safely handle typical, heavy cookware rather than providing a maximum limit.

What to Consider:

Cookware Material: Cast iron pots and pans tend to be the heaviest type of cookware. Consider using lighter materials like stainless steel or aluminum if you're concerned about weight.

Size and Weight of Individual Pots: Focus on the size and weight of the largest pot/pan you'll be using, rather than thinking of the entire cooktop's capacity.

Common Sense: If you start to see any strain, flexing, or odd noises from the cooktop, lighten the load.

Where to Find More Information:

Frigidaire Support: Contact Frigidaire directly through their website or customer support line. They may be able to provide more insight based on the specific model.

User Manuals: Check the user manual for your cooktop. It might have recommendations about suitable cookware.

Bottom Line: Use your Frigidaire FPIC3677RF with confidence for normal cooking tasks and reasonably heavy cookware. If you have very specific concerns about unusually heavy pots or pans, contact Frigidaire for tailored advice.
