My Dvd Is Playing My Dvd's Black And White. The Color Is Not Working. Help

this is usually a hook-up problem. you maybe are using the composite (three wire, one video two for stereo) outputs from the DVD player, and hooking it to the component inputs (five wire, three for the video and two for the stereo). or visa-vera. Make sure the output and input colors match ( the color of the tips on the connecting cables don't matter.

the composite (three wire) has yellow, red and white. Yellow is the video and red/white is audio. Component (five wire) has the video broke up into three plugs for higher resolution picture (prefered output) colors are green, blue and red, with the same red/white for audio.
