Sony Rdr-vx535 No Audio From Vhs Side.

I recently picked up a Sony RDR-VX535 the DVD plays just fine; however, the VHS tape side does not. The audio on the VHS taps side does not come through. I have used the HDMI cable, Y-Compoent cables, and the standard yellow compoent for the video and the red and white audio for the sound. In any case, the audio from the VHS tape side does not come through. Is this a firmware problem, and if so is there a fix for this audio problem? Dan Rollins Ontario, Oregon USA [email protected]
