Hi, Question Regarding Lbt-d290

Hi all!Sorry for posting this question on what I'm almost certain is the wrong place of the forum, but I have a peculiar problem with my Sony LBT-D290 stereo system. I turn it on, lights come on, cd and cassete mechanism start working but no sound from the speakers, after 3 or 5 minutes it starts playing and afterwards there are no issues with it going mute again or anything else for that matter.Does anyone have an idea what could be causing this issue?Thanks in advance for your time and support.

Insert only the stripped portion of the

speaker cord into the SPEAKER jack.
Inserting the vinyl portion of the speaker
cord will interfere with the speaker connection
