New Battery.
I need a new battery for my Dr BT 21G Sony headphones but each one I find on the internet has the correct voltage and amperage but has a different serial number to that of my old battery. Is it safe to use one of these in the headphones?

Definitely. The model number, not the serial number, is determinative.
