Maxtor 3100 Not Recognized
I want to use my Maxtor 3100 (200GB) external hard drive to create a system image of my Windows 7 64 bit system. When plugged in I get the message "not recognized" no matter which usb 2.0 port I connect it to. When I plug in into my wife's laptop 5 feet away with the same Windows 7 64 bit operating system on it, it functions properly. Any ideas? Thanks!
