Screen Not Coming On.
I have bought the un46d6500 back in may. Shortly after the purchase, the screen image would not show when first turned on. Although sound works fine. Over time the issue has gotten worse. We would just turn the tv off the back on and by chance would get lucky some times. I had to cycle off the on 26 times the other day. Any known issue with this tv or any help/pointres. We currectly leave the tv on all the time with the screen save active throught the stb. We only turn off the stb and let the screen save keep the screen active. Please help

If this is under warranty then a shop should diagnose that the power board is likely the failing part. If it's not warranty then you might want to look at the capacitors on this board for obvious puffed tops (see attached picture). here is my pat response for capacitor issues:
remove the back and check for capacitors on the power supply that has the top puffed up slightly. If you find any, replace them. These parts (capacitors) are available at places like Radio Shack. you can either replace them yourself, or take the power supply board and the capacitors to a local TV shop and they will likely charge $20 to replace them for you. The power supply is the module that the AC cord plugs into, and the value of the capacitors is printed on the side. Normally the bad ones are rated at 10vdc-16vdc and they could be 1000 to 2200 micro-farads. These capacitors will look like a cylinder with a silver top. Google bad capacitors on LCD HDTV and you will see mass data.
The power board retails for around $170 after the core is returned (part number BN44-00427B)
