I Cannot Take Pictures With My Camera. It's A Sl420, Can Anyone Help Me?
The camera won't let me take pictures. The menu re works just fine and the battery is fine, so corrosion at all. The memory card is undamaged. The cameras simply makes a noise and the screen never comes up from black unless I press the menu button. None of the picture settings work. I have no idea on how to fix it and I need help please. My model is a Samsung sl420.

You could try a reset of the camera to see if it has locked up. It is described on page 53 of the user guide available here:

If that does not resolve your problem then you will need to seek the help of a camera engineer. It is a repair that the home user should not attempt.
