No Volume
i had my tv for less then a year and the volume all of the sutton stop working tried turning it off and unpluggging it, but nothing happen. i do have a direct tv dvr cable box. please help with this problem, because I was plan on purchasing another one this coming week but if the tv stop working in less then a year then i will not purchase no more of samsung products

There is not much you could do at this point. You TV set needs repair. I would suggest that you contact customer service and explain your situation to then and see what could they do for you. Get a log number from them documenting your call just in case that you want to check later the status of your case. You must escalate this issue if you want to get something from then.

There are no known issues with your symptom, but there are a couple thing you can try before calling a technician (since it's still under warranty). There is a possibility that the problem is not the TV. So try another input, DVD players are a good choice. Also make sure that the MTS is set to stereo and not SAP, and finally your TV might have the feature when you turn it on and off it make the "splash" tone. If you have sound on some input then check out the source of the bad input.
