Mp4 Format
I cannot play my video recordings on my pc as they are in MP4 format, what do I need to do, I run Vista. I am not very technical and need simple advice. Thank you

MP4 is also known as "MPEG version 4" or "Moving Picture Experts Group layer 4" is an official standard for audio and video formatting.
It is based on Apple Software's Quicktime specification but it is an open standard.

There are many media players that will display MP4 files. My favorite is VLC Media Player which is free to download here: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
Apple's Quicktime product will display them as will the newer versions of Windows Media Player. Make sure that your version of media player is completely up to date and it should work. Use the Windows Update icon to update it. If you would like to grab a copy of Quicktime you can get it here: http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/ but as I said it's not required.
Alternately you can search Google for players. Just go to http://www.google.com and enter "mp4 players" in the search box.
