Why Do We Have Audio, But No Video On Our T.v.?

We have sound but no picture. When the set is turned on we will have a picture for about 3 seconds; then all goes black. We have tried unplugging it from the wall, to reset it. Nothing works. We can change channels, however there is no picture. Model # LN55C630K1FXZA

there are three major components making up your LCD TV, the main board with the brains, inputs, tuner, video and audio processing (this seems to be working fine), The LCD panel which is made up with the LCD display and back lights that allow you to see the video on the display (the video is there but the florescent lamp tubes quit working after 3 seconds), and finally the power supply/inverter board (IP). This is the board with a problem, the power supply section is working to give power to the main so you have video and audio, but the inverter section is having a problem keeping the lamps lit.
