It's not the paper. I have faned it and taken it out and put it in etc. nada.. The paper starts to move then stops. I have model SPC261SFNw

When you get the misfeed error but there's not actually any paper jammed, it's typically caused by the machine not being able to pull the paper through the way it's supposed to.
Check the paper in the tray and make sure it's not bent, wrinkled, or stacked incorrectly. Take it out, fan it, flip it, and restack it.
Check the paper fences in the tray, make sure they are tight against the paper but not too tight to push on the paper or prevent it from feeding.
