Lines On My 11x17 Copies

I seem to be getting a line on my 11x17 copies but not on any other size. The 11x17 copies are not used very often so what could be causing this???

If it's two or three semi-wide bands (maybe 1/2" to 1" wide) then it could be the feed rollers for the tray holding the 11x17 paper. They may just need to be cleaned.

Otherwise, running 8.5" x 11" paper portrait (long edge feed) and see if that has lines too when copying.

If the lines happen only when copying, then it's likely either something on the glass (the wide platen glass if you place your originals there, or the strip of glass if you use the feeder).
