To empty the waste toner bottle, you'll need to turn the copier off properly (operation power switch, wait for it to stop blinking, main power switch) then open the front cover. There is a screw located between the cover and the main machine, facing straight down on the left side. Remove this screw, then close the front cover. Open the first paper tray, then open the cover to the left of it. You'll see the waste toner bottle -- slide it out and empty it into a trash bag or other receptacle.
