Refilling The Cartridge

The 29/28 cartridges are not licensed to be refilled. You can, however, refill the 29A or 28A cartridges available on the Lexmark website at http://www.lexmark.com. You should be aware that a refilled cartridge will not be able to report its ink level, and you might not get the print quality you expect from ink that is specially formulated by Lexmark to pass through microscopic nozzles at extremely high temperatures.
If you are concerned about the cost of ink, you can save up to 20% by enrolling in the free Lexmark Rewards program (http://www.lexmarkrewards.com) . You’ll earn free ink by purchasing and recycling your ink cartridges with Lexmark. You can also save money by using only XL cartridges, and purchasing ink in multipacks.
