According to the support website of Lexmark, this is called "False Paper Jam". Fortunately, you can fix this issue by following these steps.

Solution

Remove the toner cartridge.
Make sure there is no paper stuck in the machine.
Flip down the front access cover and locate the exit sensor flag. The flag should be centered in front of the fuser pressure roller and standing vertical.
Manually adjust the sensor flag if necessary.
If the problem persists, contact Lexmark Technical Support.\
