Just flip the sensor down. The sensor might be stuck at an upright position. The inner tray is where you remove the copied papers.

There is a latch in the Inner Tray where the copied/printed papers gets pushed into. It is in the middle of receiving area. Due to dust/ excessive use it can get stuck. Slowly push it down.

In the main tray, there is a little black lever that maybe stuck down, just flip that lever up and your problem is fixed.
