Error Code Came Up Of 49.0665 ...what Does It Mean And How Do I Fix It?

Hi, the 49.x error is generally a memory or firmware issue. It can sometimes be caused by a corrupted print job or a communication error with a specific application. Clear out your print jobs, then turn the printer off and back on. If the error comes back right away, before the printer receives a print job, it may be a firmware or memory issue. Try turning the printer off and removing any memory DIMMs as well as external accessories like a JetDirect card. Turn the printer on -- if it boots up fine, most likely one of the components you removed is the culprit, so turn the printer off and reinstall them one by one until you figure out which one is causing the error. If it still gives you the same error even with those components removed, try updating the firmware. If it's not the firmware causing the problem, it could possibly be the formatter board.
If the problem only happens when you print, try printing a different file or printing from a different program. There may be a specific problem with one file or one program.
