How to fix a Bar code reader Error, no response from BCR on TL2000 tape library?

Make sure you have no obstructions in the library that could prevent the robotics from moving freely, remove the magazines and simply look inside. Also be sure you have nothing stacked on top of the unit. How is the unit sitting? racked or table top? If you have it on a table top are you using the supplied rubber feet?
If you can't see anything obvious obstructing the unit and nothing is stacked on top you will need to contact Dell support.
